All the henna art in the galleries was done with Mud™ all natual henna paste. The skin is the largest organ of the body and it is important that we are kind to our it.

If you think you would like to try this art form, I suggest you buy the basic Mehndi Mud™ henna paste. Mud™ always produces a deep dark stain and requires no mixing. Mud™ can be frozen and used at a later date. The combination of lemons, seed oil and henna powder is pH 4.5 and hypo-allergenic.

Tips: In preparation for big henna designs and even hands and feet I recommend brushing the skin and then a hot ginger bath to clean the body of excess oils and dead skin. Henna makes the body feel cool and relaxed, so its important for the client to be comfortable and secure. Start in the upper back area, it is the hardest to stain. Leave the paste on as long as you can, if you want the tattoo to last.

All of the art work in this gallery was done with Mehndi Mud a pure and natural paste made of henna. The designs are temporary and go away after a few weeks. There is no health risk and can be enjoyed at any age.

If you own a spa or salon, then why not offer henna bodyart. I will be offering classes and workshops this summer Contact me for details.
